Every day I get to visit one of our national parks through the amazing images taken by wonderful photographers. The U.S. Department of the Interior’s Facebook page shares photos of our precious parks and other national treasures, and, oh, are they gorgeous.

For now, images are the only way I’m able to see these beautiful areas of my United States. (Place your cursor over the photo to see the image location.)

“America the Beautiful.” I’d love to be free to visit every state in my country. Each one has a unique beauty and history. Maybe someday I will, but seeing it this way, for starters, isn’t so bad.

America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!

    • That is exactly what I think about, Terry! Knowing that I’ll be seeing something more beautiful than what I can see today or even imagine gets me through the limitations I have now as a traveler.
