Look around. The creativity of the Creator. Master Artist.

And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day. Genesis 1:31

    • Thanks, Marylin. It was good for me to take time and notice that creativity in the simple things of life. My first thought was to capture the sunrise or sunset, but then I saw the wings of that bee and started thinking …

  1. And that is art…& that is beautiful my friend! Spectacular pics Darla~Art in it’s simplest form is always the most splendid. I was talking to my daughter today while we drove home after shopping, & told her about a memory from my childhood. A corn field (my friends home) we lived in a farmland community. And the neighbors would help eachother with their gardens. I told Inion, that when I was 13 years old, I stood in front of the cornfield, comparing it to the way it looked from a distance. Then, the way the corn danced in the wind. Swaying back and forth to the breeze. The sounds of the rustling leaves…bowing before their creator. Inion understood immediately, as an artist would. But then I told her how my friends began laughing at me as they watched me. Eyes closed, swaying like the corn. They didn’t understand, the real beauty of that field. But like us, you see things as an artist, that others don’t begin to understand just how beautiful & how perfectly precious life’s creation truly is. How God, the ultimate artist, took the time to give detail to each & every thing. Making sure to express his creativity in all that we see. Just as he did in the images you captured. In that cat’s eyes. In the rich red burst of color in that pepper. In the sound the bee’s wings make when it flaps. Beautiful post Darla~ Now on another note. Inion & I have nominated you for: The Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award. So, when you have a chance, stop by our blog to pick up your award.

    • Natalie, I can see you swaying in the breeze! Maybe, later in life, a few of your childhood friends remembered that day and it “clicked”! Thanks for this beautiful comment and for the Sisterhood award. I’ll head on over to see what that’s all about!
