And I Shall Be With Him

My knowledge of that life is small;

The eye of faith is dim:

But it’s enough that Christ knows all;

And I shall be with him.

– Richard Baxter | April 10, 1660

I spent time on Good Friday at our city rose garden, taking photos of the lovely flowers and landscape there. The garden has over 1,000 rose varieties.

It’s mind-boggling to think that all the beauty of the world combined is just a shadow of what’s to come.

Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! (Revelation 22:20)

  2. On Good Friday we hiked in the Garden of the Gods, among the spiring red rocks where Ute Indians stopped to rest on their journeys. We had some remaining snow from two days earlier, but as we hiked the skies cleared and the sun broke through the clouds. It was a time of calm and quiet…and gratitude.
    Thank you for your wonderful message, Darla.
